Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible, and Battle Pope. He began writing several series for Marvel Comics in 2004, but in 2008 it was announced that he would be made a full partner at Image Comics (who publishes The Walking Dead), meaning that he will no longer be writing for Marvel.
