Because Palomar: The Heartbreak Soup Stories is out of print, this is the best place to start reading Beto's "Palomar" stories. Coupled with his brother Jaime's Maggie the Mechanic, these two books will start you on the path to understanding why Love and Rockets is the best independent comic book ever produced.
