Linda Medley is an American comic book author and illustrator best known for her series Castle Waiting. She worked as a freelance illustrator for several children's book publishers beginning in 1985, and her comic book career began with her work on DC Comics's Justice League America and Doom Patrol in the early '90s.
She won a Xeric grant in 1996 and three Eisner Awards for her work on Castle Waiting, which she originally self-published (but which is now published by Fantagraphics).
Medley is currently at work illustrating a series of nine graphic novels based on L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz books.
