Jason Lutes is an American comic book writer and artist who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991. His comic strip, "Jar of Fools," was serialized in the Seattle alternative weekly newspaper the Stranger before being collected and released as a graphic novel. He is currently working on Berlin, a historical series that follows the lives of several characters living in Berlin during the waning years of the Weimar Republic and the rise of Nazi Party.
